About Shawntrice Watkins
She served as a Police Officer with the Los Angeles Police Department for 19 years. In 2008, she made history by becoming the first African American woman elected to the Board of Trustees of the Eastside Union School District. Throughout her career, she also dedicated her time to several organizations and was involved in various entrepreneurial endeavors.
However, her passion was discovered in 2017 when she entered the Financial Services Industry. Shawntrice obtained her Life Insurance License and holds Series 6, 63, 26, and 65 Investment Licenses and a Mortgage Loan Originator License. Known as “The Law Enforcement Lady,” she passionately simplifies the complex world of finance, making it understandable and relatable for those who protected and served all of their lives. Shawntrice is the Founder and Investment Advisor of MBSJ Financial, based in Rancho Cucamonga, California with her daughter Janae.
